A metal bracelet?
over 4 years ago – Fri, Jan 17, 2020 at 06:03:36 PM

Hi everyone,

I have spent the last 10 days trying to figure out what metal band looks best on the Seascape 200M. I  have done a bunch of photoshop work overlaying bracelets and I can say that my favourite option (surprisingly to me), the one the looks with the watch is a stainless steel mesh bracelet.

I would obviously like to include a stainless steel mesh bracelet for everyone but cost wise it is not workable. For it to be included as a stretch goal we would need to hit $470,000hkd ($60,000usd) and there are only have 6 days left in the campaign. If we do not reach the stretch goal, (which I feel we probably will not) I might be able offer the mesh bracelet at a very  minimal price to all our Kickstarter backers in the future, ***only once we are 100% happy with quality and have finalized the bracelet.  We have started searching for the best mesh in terms of chain design to fit with Seascape design, the thickness, the overall feel and this process is still ongoing.  We will keep you posted :-)

Best regards to all and as always thank you for the support thus far!

Case back
over 4 years ago – Mon, Jan 06, 2020 at 09:37:29 PM

Just to share a picture as per Michael Schütze's question regarding the case back design.

The case back will follow the same design principals as is on the Dark Surge 300. Polished along the outer rim with circular recessed holes used to open the back case with a tool. Then a circular brushed area with the watch features and its own etched model number. These are individually etched for each model- so you will be able to discern the year-month-and model series of its inception. Finally, a raised circular platform with out “M” logo raised out.

For example on the picture below it is etched- "PMDS1806004T" That translates to P(Prototype) MDS(Marnaut Dark Surge) 18(2018) 06(June) 004(4th prototype model made) T(Two Tone model).
